A Male Red Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is age 10+ yrs approx

Good With Children Not Good With Other Pets Good With Dogs

Contact Shelter Adoption Form

Shelter Location: Various Locations

Larry is a super house guest, walks nicely on a lead and is fine with a neutered male SBT he lives with. However he does need work outside with strange dogs so we are looking to place him as an only dog. He isn't keen on cats either.
He is great with kids and has been around kids who visit his fosterer of ages 3 and upwards. He came to us weak around his backend but has got much stronger now his muscles have built up and he is no longer malnourished. He doesn't need a lot of exercise and is happy with shorter walks although can manage further if it were needed on occasion. Larry is in good health and condition

Larry is an older male with some hind limb weakness though has really improved with regular exercise and a home environment.

He is fab with dogs and kids but doesn't seem good with cats. He is a very sweet dog who would make a fab companion. He is living with a neutered older male SBT at the moment

Misty is showing signs on seperation anxiety but this is likely due to her being stressed from leaving her home to go to kennels.we need a foster home for her to help her before it gets worst.

She is a very loving little lady that's great with kids, she's living with kids of many ages.

*** We are looking for a foster home for Mavis***

DOGS - Update: Mavis is happy to walk with other dogs with an experienced handler, but we will be looking for a pet free foster home to further assess
CATS - not assessed
CHILDREN - Mavis gets so excited over attention so for now best in home without children

Stunning Mavis has shown that with a calm, confident handler she is sweet, responsive girl. Due to the bad start in life she had, she can be fearful and anxious and so we have not been throwing too many new things at her, just letting her settle and see that life is not so scary. She seemed anxious around cars, and we know she was fearful of other dogs before she arrived with us, but she adores going out for walks and being with kind people. We will be looking for a special foster home for Mavis where she can begin to enjoy the good things about life.

********
Meet Mavis, yes she’s a blue girl who is around 5/6 years old. She has come from a bad situation but this girl still loves life and adores her people. She needs help around other dogs so we would like her to go to a home that has Staffie experience. This is manageable with training, patience and time. Could you offer this lovely girl a home ! Please get in touch with us as she arrives this week

A Female Brindle/White Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is age 5+ years

Not Good With Dogs

Contact Shelter Adoption Form

Shelter Location: Various Locations

Our volunteers have been working with Thora to assess her more fully and try to help her settle as she has been anxious in kennels. She has obviously been trained to wear a muzzle in the past. She will need a confident foster home where she can be the only pet and can continue to learn. She needs someone who is prepared to work hard with her to help her overcome her fears. She listens well and will reward you with love and kisses

********

We were able to get this wee girl out of the pound because of your support.

Thora has just arrived with us , the information we have from the pound is that she is a middle aged girl that is just out of season and she had a few wee lumps that need looked at. Thora will be seeing a the vets soon once settled a bit more with all her adventures today.
Welcome to Staffie Smiles Rescue wee one, live is going to get sooooo much better for you now.

Rupert arrived with us yesterday and has gone into a foster home. He's doing great and loving his foster home.
He's living with a male SBT at the moment. Due to his age he's very excitable and can jump about a lot.
Once Rupert has been assessed we will be looking for an adopter for this young man.

If you want to be considered to adopt him, please get in touch.
